ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that the Driver License Center at 1738A 9th Ave. in Altoona will reopen.
PennDOT says the center will reopen driver licensing and photo services Thursday at 8:30 a.m. after closing for nearly a month for renovations.
PennDOT says the center’s hours will be expanded when it reopens.
Officials say the center will now be open Tuesdays through Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. The photo center will be open Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
The photo center is open Thursdays until 6 p.m.
The Huntingdon Driver License Center at the MAT Plaza will resume their normal operating hours after operating under extended hours while the Altoona center was closed.
