SYDNEY, NSW (CelebrityAccess) — American comic Chris D'Elia was forced to postpone his upcoming tour of Australia due to "unforeseen media commitments."

The brief tour was due to kick off later this month, with a series of dates scheduled for the Athenaeum Theatre in Meblourne and the Comedy Store in Sydney.

Tour promoter Frontier Comedy expressed their regret at having to reschedule the tour and said that new dates would be announced soon. Ticketholders were urged to retain their tickets, which will be valid for the new dates.

The tour would have been D'Elia's firt professional visit to Australia. D'Elia is best known for playing Alex Miller on the NBC sitcom Whitney and for the role of Danny Burton on the sitcom Undateable, also on NBC. He's slated to appear in an upcoming Netflix standup special entitled Man On Fire later this year. – Staff Writers
