In 1990, Cho graduated from Herbert Hoover High. He studied in Glendale, California before continuing his studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in English. He then taught English at the Pacific Hills School in West Hollywood, California, while working at the East West Players Theater in Los Angeles, where his acting career began.
