SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. – Owen Kane Kelly, Sleepy Hollow resident, died Monday, Jan. 18. He was 16.
He was born in Atlanta on Oct. 13, 1999, and was raised in Atlanta and Sleepy Hollow.
A sophomore at Fordham Preparatory School in the Bronx, he was an honor student and member of the junior varsity hockey team. He was a community volunteer and worked during the summer at the Tarry Crest Swimming and Tennis Club and the Philipse Manor Beach Club. He was a counselor-in-training at Camp Shankitunk in Delhi, New York.
He is survived by his parents, Jennifer and Jason Kelly; and brothers William and Henry.
Visitation is Thursday from 5- 8:30 p.m. at the Pocantico Hills Firehouse, 531 Bedford Road, Sleepy Hollow (adjacent to the Church of the Magdalene).
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Transfiguration, 268 South Broadway, Tarrytown.
