Volibear, Wukong, and Trundle are getting nerfs once again in the upcoming patch 10.14.
League of Legends‘ lead gameplay designer, Mark “Scruffy” Yetter, previewed the patch 10.14 today. And it seems like Trundle is getting nerfs once again, while Wukong will taste his first nerf since patch 10.10, and Volibear is finally getting nerfs as well.
Volibear Nerf Patch 10.14
- Attack speed: 0.66 >>> 0.625
- W Healing to monsters: 100% >>> 50%
When reworked Volibear was released on patch 10.11, he had one the lowest win rates in League of Legends history. As a result, he received a hotfix buff on patch 10.11 and a huge buff on patch 10.12. However, after getting those buffs, his win rate increased by around 14%. He just went from having a 40% win rate to 54% in just a couple of days after getting the buffs.
His presence in the Pro games is quite strong as well. Even on patch 10.13, Volibear has around a 52% win rate with a 22% ban rate. As a result, Riot is nerfing some of his overpowered stats on patch 10.14.
Wukong Nerf Patch 10.14
- R Knockup duration: 0.75 >>> 0.6
After getting a Gameplay update on patch 10.6, Wukong quickly became one of the strongest champions in League of Legends because of his double ult knock-up. He was so overpowered that Riot nerfed him three times in just four patches since his rework.
But even with all these nerfs, he still has around a 52% win rate with an 8% pick rate. He is also getting a lot of attention from Pro games as well. As a result, he will be tasting nerfs in patch 10.14 as well.
Trundle Nerf Patch 10.14
- W Attack speed: 30-100 >>> 20-100%
Trundle is a type of champion who is getting nerfs over and over again because of him being overpowered in the Pro games. First, he got his nerfs on patch 10.9 and later on patch 10.12. And now Riot is planning to nerf Trundle once again in the upcoming patch 10.14.
